What’s been happening:

I miss eating at Big Bowl. I miss Jimmy Johns (although they are springing up in Philly here and there). I miss Clem's BBQ. I miss the Creamery. On a more serious note, after graduating, I stayed in State College a bit longer and worked at the Bennett Family Center (kids on the rope) before moving back home to teach. I am currently teaching at a middle school in Philadelphia School District. If you're in education, please consider teaching in the city to work with the urban youth. We need teachers who are sacrificial, dedicated and are up for a challenge. We have a lot of great kids. We need great teachers to help them see and reach their potential.
